The Australian Dance Festival is held at Sydney Olympic Park - home of the 2000 Olympic Games.  The venue is about a 30 minute drive West of Sydney and is well serviced by buses and trains.  The workshops, shows & expo will take place at Quay Centre  which boasts a fantastic stage with arena seating.  

 

Part of this highly versatile venue will be transformed into an arena theatre with a tiered seating capacity for 2,500 people - so you can sit back and enjoy the performances in style.

 

Workshops  will also run at Netball Central.  Each workshop room will have the capacity to easily accommodate at least 300 dancers.  Yes!  We've heard your feedback and there will be no more squishing into packed workshop rooms!

Bag Checks: 
Full bag checks will be conducted. We appreciate your patience.  The following items are not permitted to be brought into the venue: 
- Glass or breakable containers
- Cans or metal containers
- Food from Commercial Outlets e.g. McDonalds, Subway, Pizza Hut etc.
- Large items including eskies / hard case coolers and bags that cannot fit under seats
- Alcohol is not permitted
- No metal cutlery
- Flares/Fireworks
- Laser pointers
- Selfie Sticks
- Knives or other dangerous weapons

-Other similar items that have the potential to cause injury or nuisance

NEW! LOCKER HIRE

Lockers will be available for hire for $33 over the 3 days.  The lockers will be located in Netball Central.  We recommend pre-paying for your locker BEFORE the event to avoid missing out.  Note a $30 deposit will be required when you pick up your key.  This will be refunded to you when you return the key to us on Sunday.

Code of Behaviour at the Australian Dance Festival
We have the following expectations of Australian Dance Festival attendees:

• Please follow the instructions of the Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre Staff & ADF Volunteers during the event.  

• Attendees MUST walk (and not run) when inside the building ESPECIALLY when trying to get the seats for the evening shows

• Attendees should take special care when walking up and down the staircases at the Sports Centre

• Bags must be stored in the designated areas marked out by the Quaycentre as they can be trip hazards to other attendees.
